One Heart Project
The One Heart Project is an initiative designed to empower justice-involved and at-risk youth by providing them with the skills, tools, and healthy relationships necessary to navigate life's challenges successfully. By offering mentorship, life skills training, educational support, and career readiness programs, the project aims to break the cycle of incarceration and foster self-sufficiency, hope, and resilience.
During my time working with the One Heart Project in the Topeka Chapter, I played a key role in designing various promotional and organizational materials to support the organization’s programs and community events. I created nametags for staff, mentors, and participants, enhancing community engagement and promoting a welcoming atmosphere at OHP events. I also designed business cards for staff and volunteers, ensuring seamless connections within the local community while promoting the OHP mission. Additionally, I developed official completion certificates to recognize youth participants’ achievements, empowering them to continue on their path to success. Lastly, I produced flyers for various community events, workshops, and fundraising initiatives, effectively communicating key details and attracting attendees to help further OHP’s mission.
