One of the most rewarding projects I worked on was the branding and promotional materials for Camp Barnabas’ Barnabreak weekends. Camp Barnabas is a camp designed for individuals with special needs, and the Barnabreak weekends provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for these individuals to experience the joys of camp. I had the opportunity to create various design materials for their marketing campaign, including brochures, social media graphics, and event flyers.

This project was particularly meaningful to me because it combined both creative challenges and a powerful mission. My goal was to design materials that conveyed the camp’s spirit of inclusivity, adventure, and community while ensuring that the materials were accessible and engaging for the target audience. The project also required me to work closely with a diverse team, ensuring the designs reflected both the camp's core values and the specific needs of its participants.

What made this project so rewarding was not only the opportunity to contribute to a cause that I am passionate about but also the positive feedback we received from the camp’s community. Knowing that my designs played a part in bringing people together and helping them experience the joy of camp was incredibly fulfilling. This project taught me how to tailor my creative work to a specific audience and how impactful design can be in creating emotional connections and fostering a sense of belonging.
